Our science enrichment classes are taught by environmental educators who know how to make learning hands-on and fun!

Small Wonders

Small Wonders: a nature series for babies, toddlers and their caregivers. Kristine Coblentz will offer a new series of classes for our littlest nature-lovers and their caregivers. Research recognizes the first three years of life as the critical time in which to lay the foundation for children to reach their highest potential. Drawing on Howard Gardner's theory of Multiple Intelligences, we will learn and play with nature-based themes as our guide. Class activities are designed to explore and develop these intelligences and deepen our relationships with one another and the world around us. Our time together will include circle time, finger plays and songs, hands-on activities and a short nature stroll, weather permitting. Please dress for the weather and bring a sling or child carrier for little ones; toddlers can amble on their own.
